My carport the same. 3 sides enclosed. I've really liked having it. Only down side is it collects blowing leaves. Of course over time things have changed a bit. I buried 10 gauge wire for Power to it and mounted a receptacle on the second upright from the front. I went above that and mounted a motion detecting floodlight that shines up across the roof--lights it up nicely w/o shinning in my eyes when I'm in it. 7 years later I had the drive paved and paved inside it. It would have been smarter to pave before installing the carport but I had not intention on paving when it was installed. Lastly I added a little front--just a triangle at the top. It's not tall enough to come down to the sides it's just in the peak. I used some scrap from putting up a fully enclosed unit beside it.
