Rick, My mule goes places a golf cart can't. I need 4 wheel and the power.
The only way raw gas can get in to the crank case has to be through the injectors. When I turn my key on, there are 5 red lights on dash. One is the fuel pressure. I hear the fuel pump kick on, before the light goes off. So I'm thinking perhaps older models may have not had a way to bleed off fuel pressure, injector leaks, cylinder gets raw gas, which leaks past the rings.
I have an old 15 hp briggs with plastic carb. It too would leak and fill crankcase with gas.
In your search, do you find all mules and gators with problem, or just the older ones?
