I'll throw some prices out there, I'm not scared, but I'm not going to name the shop because they've been getting a little sloppy lately.
Few years ago they were doing 400 series IH heads for about 450-500 out the door, new valves, seats, guides, springs, keepers, retainers, injector cups and water directors. Friend of mine just had one done for a 1066 and he was not happy when he had to replace the injector cups on a redone head because they did not replace them. About the same price. I had priced out some reman's with exchange for him and they were around $1200 at the time.
Same shop, I got a replacement head for a Ford 6600, put it on started putting water in the oil. After chasing it down ended up being a core plug under the valve cover, probably 50 cents worth of core plugs and they didn't change them, my local shop gave me new ones to put in.
