I rode about a thousand miles standing on the platform of an old AC 66. I thought that was so fun watching the wheat get cut, fall on the canvas and move on up to the cylinder.

Talk about a simpler and more laid back time.

Then when I got bigger I got to crawl inside and hold the back side of the bolt head while my dad changed the rubber coated cylinder bars.

I can't remember, I guess we laid down some cardboard and covered the walkers with that while I laid in there. Can't remember, some of those old straw walkers were wooden, dont know if ours were or not.
