Worked on concrete floor for over 44 years straight. Then off and on for 15 years. Wore out a ton of shoes. Best shoe I ended up with was a low quarter by Kinney. Very comfortable and light. Never wore a orthotic. The weight of a shoe also has a lot to do with feet hurting and fatigue. Problem is Kinney went out of business years ago. Find it really difficult to find a shoe I like anymore. I do not want any of those darn cleats on the soles. They dig into the bottom of your feet and also drag a lot of crap around with you. Also, must have a heel, no flat bottom(forget the name). Yaa, my knees are bad now but at 78 they will have to get a lot worse before they put man made ones in me. Still can do a pretty good walk after those pheasants during season. Son in Law wears orthotics, costs him like 400 bucks, desk job, go figure.
