Cooks hams are the only ones I'll buy, Safeway brand is also Cooks, so the butcher told me. They're always good. I buy the shank when they're $.99/lb. and the butts are usually about $1.10/lb. Good tasting hams. Then you can always use the bone for some good beans. You couldn't give me a spiral sliced ham, too thinly sliced. I've got a good knife and can slice my own..
