Might have a problem if it is an MG 1. Fred Crison's excellent book on 'U.S. Military Tracked Vehicles' list the MG 1 as tested by the military at Aberdeen (Maryland) in summer 1940, leter developed into the standard MG 2 aircraft tractor. Right front fender may (should) have a 3Kw 110v DC generator, plus 10,000 lb winch on front and 2,000lb compressor at rear. Definately need help from the Military Vehicle people (like me ) try MVPA page, Mil-Veh list, and also any antique aircraft people you know that are into U.S.A.A.C. and U.S.A.A.F. period stuff. You might have to make or adapt tracks. E-mail if you need more info. Gordon 8-)
