a while ago I saw a couple of questions of how a Ford 9n and a Fordson Major would pull. Today I took my Farmall M to a h.p. pull and both tractors were there. The 9n was in the 20 to 25 h.p. class and did not do very well, beat by a couple of cockshutt 20's and a couple of J.D., a 20 won the class.
The Fordson Major Deisal was in the 35 to 40 hp class with our M and did quite well, finished 2'nd, beaten by another M by a foot, my M was 3'rd.
I have one question wasn't the Fordson Major Desial more than 40 h.p.. I have not seen very many of them and don't really know much about them.
