We got the bigest storm of the winter season here yesterday and today. At least the weather watchers and the Gonenors of NY and NJ didn't make a big deal out of a typical winter event like they did a week ago and shut down public transit and interstate highways like then. I guess they learned that people can deal with winter without goverment intervention. NYS DOT did close a couple north/south roads here and there was a major pile up on I81 north of Syracuse, but all and all commerce and people got to their destinations, rather than being held hostage at a road closed barrier ordered by our idiot Gov. rather than DOT officials who know how to deal accordingly with road conditions. It was reported that the two states lost several million dollars, because of poor weather forcasts and over reactive politicians. Loren, the Acg.
