Dad said that draft horses would overheat on alfalfa. Not sure what that meant. I could ask him if I cared. He is only 87 but should remember that. Remember the MASH episode where Colonel Potter (Harry Morgan) had to give his horse an enema because it was all blocked up? I don't remember the reason, but I would assume it was the feed. It was funny whatever the cause as a couple of city slicker people doctors took care of it.
