Great read. The funny thing is many of us here in the US feel the same way, but until our 'leaders' have the fear of God put into them, and understand that WE control them, and not the other way around, things aren't going to change.
Another thing a lot of folks here in the US, and I assume Canada, don't understand is that while our country goes overboard to be 'tollerant' and accepting, most other countries are just the opposite. As I discovered while visiting other countries while in the Navy, if your there as a tourist and they can make money off of you, then their good with it. If you make an attempt to speak the language and communicate, then they are good with you being there. On the other hand if you are just there to sponge off of the system, can't speak the language, etc, etc, then as far as they are concerned you can go back where they came from....THEY DON'T WANT YOU....and have no problem saying as much.
THAT mindset needs to be the way of the land in any country that want's to remain strong, as it's citizens that want to be there, and want to contribute, and want the way of life that they came to that country for, that make up that strength.
