Are you talking about 'real' apple trees or 'crab' apple trees?
The reason I ask is...there is a pretty good demand for Apple wood chunks/chips used in smoking for BBQs.
30 acres of trees would provide quite a bit of wood. Maybe you could work out a deal with a wood chip company to come in and remove trees plus clear the stumps for the wood.
