A few weeks back I was asking about how best to weigh down the back of a 1/2 ton 2WD 2010 Silverado. Little V6. The slightest snow and she'd just sit there and spin tires. I just put in 4 Farmall rear wheel weights, chained them in the back, total weight 600#, a 5 gallon bucket of sand, and filled the gas tank. Have new Michelin LT tires. Squats down and goes in snow now, goes uphill, goes almost better than old Blue, my old '77 4x4.
