I'll pray for you. Just because you belong to a union does not mean that YOU are a bad person. I don't know you at all, but if you have gotten up everyday for work for 23 years you must have some dedication. At least you aren't sitting at home collecting gov't money like many oxygen wasters that I have to deal with on a daily basis, standing behind them in line while they pay for nothing but junk food with their bridge card (govt money here in MI) while looking at their latest IPHONE. These probably 70% of the population that really don't need help are the people that cause me to pay in at the end of the year. That is after already paying more than 25% of my wages, because I don't have kids, let alone ones that the govt paid (pays) for.
Unfortunately, the places I have worked, just fire people when times are slow, then rehire newer cheaper people when it picks back up. If you are a contributing member of society, I appreciate that, whether you are union or not, as long as you are a hard worker, as I'll bet most guys on this site probably are. I don't know why some people won't just agree to disagree. I'll probably get attacked for saying this, but oh well, you guys don't know me either. He might be the nicest guy none of you have ever met. Union or not.
