This was yesterday. The only change made this year was to switch to a 5w-40 diesel spec oil. I get a little more valve noise when cold, but that quickly goes away when warm. Oil pressure is right at 35 psi, which is where the relief opens. Last year, I pitched the 160 thermostat in favor of a 195 degree. Looking back, I should have stayed with a 180 as that is the hottest it will maintain. The other additions were high compression pistons, electronic ignition, cast and fluid weight in the mains, and duo bar tire chains. Starts easy, good consistent power, and very easy on fuel. Oh, the blade is a vintage Bush-Hog 7 footer, refurbed and painted black. The blade had to be leaned way forward to prevent digging in. It is a beast.
