Naive thinking. Current administration is far detached from reality. He/they can no more eliminate guns, 310 million per Internet, from this country than we could round up and deport 20 million illegal aliens, or stop illegal drug use.

It's a tactic well under way! Make it more expensive and or not available. No more lead production in this country, EPA shut it down. Gun powder, think reloading, is in short supply and up to $30-35/ lb. Reloading components in general are harder to find and more expensive. .22lr ammo of all things is in short supply. Most all other ammo is readily available here in Houston but far more expensive.
Reality is their strategy is back firing. AR 15 rifles are back in stock and selling like hot cakes. Our LGS's have Smith &Wesson and Ruger AR's for sale under $700. People are hoarding guns and ammo in fear of a ban.
