Bought a 1995 350 Van from a Ford dealer, had 18000 miles on it. Warranty was 36,o 000. We wre on a trip to SC and returned to FL. The trasmission started to jerk. Got to Ford dealer with 36032 miles on truck and fought for warranty service. No Dice 800 bucks for a torque converter. We drove that truck pulling a travel trailer and a year later blew the transmission in SC. Went to Ford dealer and bought a reman (2000) from them with a year warranty. 400 miles up the road started jumping and bucking. in Murphy NC King Ford, took it in. Handed them the Ford Warranty and they said, fine. Take it back where you got the warranty and have them repair it After many calls and lots of days and anguish,and finding out Saluda Ford put the wrong transmissio in it) the Ford Rep came to oversee the repair which took 3 weeks for 3 hours of labor. Cost almost 100 $ in non warranty stuff. Hooked up trailer and left for Ohio, got 200 miles down I 75 on Jellicoe Mountain and blew transmission again. coasted into Williamsburg KY with Ford dealer . Another new transmission and the mech showed me that the cooling line was the orginal and was plugged solid(still under the original warranty) All this was within a 10 week period Tat one lasted almost 80000 and went again so I put in a Jasper . No more problems

I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
