June 8, 1986. Picked up My first brand new truck. cute little 1986 Ford Ranger, extended cab, 4wheel drive. Stopped on highway to make a left turn and noticed a van pulling a travel trailer pulling onto the highway next to Me. Looked into the mirror in time to see the Ford emblem on the grill of the semi that rear ended Me! 24 miles on the dial. Made the first three payments and didn't have the truck back yet.
