You joke, but it happened. I didn't get the road hazard warranty either. It couldn't have happened at a much worse time. My appendix burst,I spent 8 days in the hospital, had to be opened up again a month later to drain the infection. I went to pick up some parts, figured that wouldn't hurt me. They were repaving the road and the flagman had just stopped traffic. I didn't want to wait,so I tuned off and went a mile over and went up a gravel road. I don't know what I hit,but it slashed a tire and ruined it. All I had was the screw jack that came with the pickup. I pulled in to the nearest yard when the tire blew. The woman there said she'd take me down the road to her brother in laws to get a real jack. The guy wasn't home, but she told me to go ahead and get it. Well,it was a big floor jack. I lifted it in to her truck with a big hole in my gut. Had to change the tire with a 4 way,8 bolt of course, then load the jack back up and take it back. Sure wish I'd have waited for the flagman.
