Google has taken over everything where I work. Half of the programs we have to use will not interact with the google junk we have, so it takes twice as long to get something done, but the big wheels can get their email on their smartphones. Heck, I cant even use some of the features of my smartphone because of it, since it has allowed google to control it using my work email, and I cant get it out no mater what I do. Having ranted on that, I cant find any way on my work email to set a notifier of any type using gmail. There use to be a deal called Gmail Notifier, but has to be open by you, in order to get the notification you have mail. Since google controls my phone, and I have my work email on my phone, I set it to go off when I have email through gmail.
