You might struggle a little in new plowed ground but in my type of soil in Michigan you would probably be ok with 10 foot. I had a little trouble pulling 8 ft. with a 40 hp. at times. I've bumped up to 52 hp with loaded tires this winter and hope to do allot better pulling my 8 foot disk. I think it was about 2 hp. per blade according to the late Hugh McKay who use to be on here allot. I have found that to be pretty accurate.
I would look for something other than an AC disk though. I had two of them. They had a two piece bearing that was expensive to replace and hard to get. I got rid of the AC disks and have an old I-H disk. Parts are easy to get and reasonably priced. Just my opinion.
