George made a good point and I wanted to address him and not have the topic buried several pages back.
As I hinted before I don't want to tip my hand as to the actual situation but it involves a tractor soon to be sold. I agree with George within reason in that a tractor that will see daily use probably for most of us will not warrant a professional restoration in terms of paint. I am trying to advise somebody that I think is overvaluing a above average rattle can paint job in that it is not worth the value the seller is trying to get out of it. There is a difference between new paint and a good paint application job. I have no problem with the seller trying to get top dollar as long he is honest and at the same time the buyer is my friend who I am trying to look out for.
