As soon as you can do it without making ruts or scars. The only way you can hurt the grass is by making ruts if it's too soft. I roll mine with a roller made from a 500 gallon anhydrous tank full of water so it takes a 30 HP tractor with good traction at least. Can't do it yet here in NWIA but hopefully in a week it can work. Walk around on the lawn and if there are any mushy spots you'd be better off waiting a couple of days.
