I picked one up at auction a couple of years ago and it needed new bottom slides. I made them out of white ash 2x2 material that I had lying around and it worked fine. The largest number of bales I have made on one day was around 400-450 if I recall right and it did not seem to have a problem. I did not treat it with anything. Zach
