Funny you mention that at this time. Yesterday afternoon I was sitting on my deck, relaxing with the dogs and all of a sudden they both jumped up and started barking. I looked up in time to see a bald eagle rise up from my little goldfish pond with one of my 8 year old goldfish. He was not 20 feet from me. He must of come in over the house. I suspect he was as startled by me and the dogs as we were by him, as he dropped the fish and went and perched about 40 ft up in a maple at the other end of the yard. Never been that close to a bald eagle before. Very neat. Goldfish died, though.
