Mine did the same thing. What I found was that the turnbuckle on the hitch needs to be changed, depending on if it was a first cut or 2nd. In other words on the first pass in harder ground, I found that I needed to adjust it in so the front gangs cut more. But on the 2nd cut when the ground was much finer, I had to lengthen the turnbuckle so it wouldn't cut so deep in the front and would cover better in the back. There is a fine line though because like you say if you adjust it too far, the back gang throws too much to the center and leaves a hump. Ground speed will also make a difference in that respect once you get it leveled out the way you want, try to keep a constant speed without going too fast. When I first got my disck the turnbuckle was frozen stiff. Whoever had it must not have cared what kind of job they did. Didn't take me long to figure out that it would need constant adjustment, so I heated the turnbuckle and got it fee. I keep a large adjustable in the toolbox so I can quickley adjust it.
