Recently bought a 2000 GMC SRW 1-ton with hydroboost brakes. Bought it knowing the PS pump was broken. Knew there was a very high probability of the shaft being broken. Took it all apart, and found the shaft to be broken. I pulled the pump and replaced it with a NEW OEM pump. Installed it, along with new pressure hoses and a new cooler. The cooler is sitting on an angle with the return going out the top. the system has a really bad whine to it when in use. I turned it lock to lock with the engine off a bunch of times.(maybe 20 times). Sometimes it can be quite hard to get the PS pump to respond at all. Although it whines very badly, the hydro boost and PS do work and quite well at that. The brakes grab very hard and the steering turns as hard as what you'd expect. I figure it's air in there, as after running it for even a minute, there is quite a bit of foam. Question is, how do you bleed it?

But no matter how good or bad auctions may be, we always seem to stay until the item we've come for or are interested in is on the block. I've been to some auctions near and far. I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
