Some one out there will have an opinion on this. I'm looking at a used JD 2750 4 wheel drive. The tractor looks pretty good for being 32 years old BUT... It has the usual electrical problems for a 2750 and, more worrisome, there seems to be a substantial hydraulic/transmission oil leak coming out the bottom, somewhere between the motor and trans. housing. I'm not familiar with John deeres, only what I've been reading. This could be serious if it's a seal and the tractor has to be split to repair. The guy says it doesn't leak bad (?). I need to get a bigger tractor for baleing and it would be good to have a backup machine. This is just the size I'd like (75 hp) and the price is ok ($18000) if it doesn't need another $3-4K to keep it going. What do you all think? Could this be an easy fix? Thanks.
