It all depends on soil! The next door neighbor pulled a 2 way, 1 x 16" Case Plow with his Ferguson TO-30. Said that was all it wanted on some of his fields, BUT our soil is THICK, Rocky, LOTS of clay, Hills, etc, etc.
I have a 2 x 16 Ferguson plow that he had that came with the tractor, it hadn't been used in a LONG time! :)
I would start small and go bigger! Personally, I think that it would tug a 16 around. On flat, moderate soil. Those tractors did have a pretty quick 1st gear, I really doubt it would pull 2 x 12-14 UNLESS it was soil that was being turned over and farmed ever year..
