I have a thermo control 500 with stainless steel pipes on both sides and the top inside the stove, it heats the water for the baseboard in the house and is tied in to the oil boiler. water temp is anywhere from 90* stove almost outto 150* when stove is loaded and burning. It's a 50/50 stove 50% of the heat goes in the water and 50% into the air. I burn about 6-8 cords a winter, and about a 1/4 tank of oil. I also really like having a heated basement. If you can do that to your stove, and tie it into your hot water it will help with heating your home. On my system there are 2 circulators, the one for the wood stove has to always be running, or it will blow the pressure relief valve, then I have a 40 gallon hot water not wired in, for a water storage tank. There's alot to it but it works great.,
