I know what you mean. If I was really interested in something listed in a sale I would go the day before in the morning to look at things. We did this for several reasons, Mainly to look at the equipment and to see who is there working and hanging around to remember there faces for the next day. You go to enough sales you get to know who's who and who's buddy is who's and who to watch. I always like to get there early to watch the auctioneer and who he is talking to and watch them as they might be trying to make side deals.
