I hope someone answers this post with an idea on where to buy a GOOD umbrella made out of GOOD stuff. I have two umbrella both beach umbrella types if that's a good description. One is five or six years old and the other is an oldie found in the attic of an old Case dealer. Both are made the same with the same size rods, fasteners, etc. I have to fix/weld/braze/reinforce the rods on the new one every year. The old Case one just keeps plugging along. To sum it up the new one is made of cheap metal the old one is made of the good old stuff. I have had to glue patches on the old one because it's old, probably as old as I am and when there is no more room for patches I'm putting a new canvas on it. The frame never breaks. The new one, well!!!!!!!!!

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
