Stop and think for a minute. In this day and age of cel phones, someone sees fire or smoke a mile away and they call 911. The local fire dept. probably volunteer leaves their job or family function and responds with 2-4 trucks as fast as they can safely get there and find out some butt head is burning without calling it in. I was on a volunteer department as a fire fighter and as Chief for many years. I can't count the # of times this happened until the county started handing out substantial fines for not calling dispatch with the location and when the fire is out.
