When we moved on to this farm 27 years ago it had been vacant for four years and the wild animals had claimed it as their own. The plumbing had to all be rebuilt, but there was an outhouse behind a shed. My Father in law was the first one up that first morning and went out to the outhouse for a dump. He was still basically asleep as his cheeks hit the seat and the thunder began. Unknown to any of us a red squirrel had claimed the downstairs as his home, and came flying up the second hole voicing his displeasure at a very high volume. Both the squirrel and my father in law got the crap scared out of them that day!
