I used to work for a rendering company, one day I get a call from one of my Fat & Bone drivers, seems the police have him. The story goes like this, he was behind a grocery store having just finished a pick up when a guy jumps in the passenger side of the truck, points a gun in his face and says "drive ni&&er" He admitted he really didn't like being called that but since it was a big gun he allowed he'd let it slide. They drove a few blocks, the guy was real nervous and kept looking around, after a few blocks he made him stop the truck, he got out and ran away. The police show up, seems the guy robbed a bank in the shopping center the grocery store was in, the robber had this big plan to take a teller hostage and use her car for the get away, only when they got to her car he found out her keys were in her purse that was still in the bank. I'll give the guy credit that he was smart enough not to go back to the bank for the keys. He shoved the teller down on the pavement and runs, first thing he finds is out fat & bone route truck. Funny thing was this was the slowest truck in our fleet, we only ran Tampa and St Petersburg with it because it wouldn't run over 45 MPH. After that our driver allowed he was NEVER going to unlock that passenger door again.
Another genius that worked for me figured he'd be short on cash one week and when the paychecks came out he snuck into the office and grabbed an extra paycheck, happens to be a paycheck of a college student that worked for us part time. So now our hero has committed a Felony for the princely sum of about $80. But wait it gets better! Our hero decides he's going to be smart and go to the next town east to cash the check, you know where nobody knows him or the check's rightful owner. On his way to the next city he fails to notice something, a big farm, a used car lot, a self storage business, all with the same name, and gosh that name also matches he last name on the check he stole. He gets to the bank and fails to notice the name plate on the teller's window has a familiar last name, one that matches the farm, used car lot, self storage and stolen paycheck. The teller was a bit surprised, in the 20 years she's known her nephew she never noticed he was black. Really you can't make this stuff up.

Today's Featured Article - Usin Your Implements: Bucket Loader - by Curtis Von Fange. Introduction: Dad was raised during the depression years of the thirties. As a kid he worked part time on a farm in Kansas doing many of the manual chores. Some of the more successful farmers of that day had a new time saving device called a tractor. It increased the farm productivity and, in general, made life easier because more work could be done with this 'mechanical beast'. My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
