Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try running it in fourth with the clutch disengaged. Sounds like a good idea. Regarding blocking the clutch while in storage , I was tought as a boy not to do this because it will eventually weaken the clutch springs. Maybe blocking it half way would work for long term storage ? I do think that starting and running the tractor is the best solution. Thanks again, John
