Some fieldwork was done here in my part of NWIA ten days ago but the rain put an end to it. Mostly anhydrous and leveling off fall ripped corn stalks. Only a fool would plant corn here with the soil temp as cold as it is. I think today is the first day to plant and have it covered by crop insurance. Or was it yesterday? We've had 2.25" rain in the past ten days.
Edit, just looked at the radar and there is a lot of red color followed by yellow headed this way so there won't be any fieldwork for a few more days.
