I don't mind paying my fair share and do every year. I do mind those who pay nothing. We have a young couple near us that are the type of people that you make exceptions for though. Just after their second kids was born he was injured in a trench collapse. He is no longer able to work but does as much around the house to help his wife out as he can. She works minimum wage. Pretty much as independent as they can be. But they pay nothing into the system.
Here in MN thy raised the price on tobacco products to pay for a new place for the Vikings to choke during playoffs. Guess that isn't working too well. Mm has an old law on the books that says that a resident can buy up to 200 cigarettes at year out of state but over that and you are supposed to report it them and pay the tax. So now they are looking at the Tate police asking about tobacco products when they make stops near the border now that the border states have pretty much told Dayton where to put his reporting idea.
