Our county prosecutor told me I might as well surender the tractor to them, but I think that was a big mistake. My bill of sale had complete serial # and the banks UCC had only the numbers not the proceeding letters. The Sheriff dept. of the sellers county didn't want to get involved because of prior run ins with the crooks. Live and learn, I guess.
