jeffcat, They are handy, we bought ours from a guy who was going thru a divorce for $500.00. He hasn't used it much, but just a friendly warning about them, watch the engine on them. After three years of running ours, the engine had some trouble. First it would start and run for a while, then quit. Found the gas line (rubber) was weak and closing shut. Replaced it and it worked fine for a while, Next the float would stick closed, had to shake the engine while running or else it would die. Finally last year the engine quit all together, cylinder scorred badly. A couple of times the pushrod would fall out from the rocker arm and have to be reset. ( lash was correct). This year we bought a replacement engine to mount up on it. It was a Harbor freight engine, but should work as it's 1 1/2 hp bigger. Sometimes should beware of greeks bearing gifts, but when it works, it does save a lot of raking leaves. Any more it's easier to set and get rid of leaves than to walk and rake or blow them.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Not a place one would associate with farms or farm machinery. I credit my parents for instilling a lot of good values, a respect for learning, a knowledge of various skills and a little knowledge of farming in me, amo
