The T-20 crawlers are mostly just a novelty
with collectors today. I donot belive that
the LPG you mentioned was a factory modification,
rather something added at a later date. The small
crawlers while "cute" are rather inept at real work.
If your working a small operation it might prove useful
but remember that you may have to have a new tank built.
The LPG tanks are regulated now and must be checked every 5 years.

In non-running condition you'd better not pay more than $500.00
for it. Remember, parts are expensive!

: Recently we found a T-20 Crawler. We are IH fans and
: thought about purchasing it. The only problem is that
: it is an LPG Model. Is this a conversion or an actual
: factory production. Are there Production numbers available
: for the T-20 crawlers? We were told that IH also made
: this crawler in a standard style and one for orchards. Is this
: true? Which ones are the rarest? Whats a good
: purchase price (very good under carriage, needs cosmetics and engine work)

: Lot of questions to answer. I'd appreciate any
: help one could give.

: Thank You

Today's Featured Article - Old Time Threshing - by Anthony West. A lovely harvest evening late September 1947, I was a school boy, like all school boys I loved harvest time. The golden corn ripens well and early, the stoking, stacking,.... the drawing in with the tractors and trailers and a few buck rakes thrown in, and possibly a heavy horse. It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c ...
