LAA; From what I heard on the talk radio station. Two teens one 17 and one 18 stole a car in New Orleans. They drove to a Metairie neighborhood near Causeway and the lake. This is a good neighborhood with little to no really bad crime. The teens were breaking into cars parked on the street.
The son that was shot was visiting with friends in his garage so they had the garage door open. The two teens passed by and saw them. They decided to return and rob these people. But by this time the friends had left and the boy went inside leavening the garage door open. The two teens stopped in front of the house. The one male teen exited the vehicle with a 12 gauge shotgun. He entered the house threw the garage and shot the dad as he slept in a chair. The son was also shot at this time. The teen grabbed a purse and a I phone and left.
They caught the teens because they had left a fingerprint in one of the cars they robbed. They were found in a New Orleans neighborhood by the High-rise bridge on I10 (Downman Rd) This is a really bad neighborhood.
Supposedly this story was put together from security cameras and the girl teen spilling her guts when they were picked up. The male teen has admitted to shooting the two people while the female teen waited in the car.
Yes Jerry we had just a smudge of bad weather today. Most of the bad stuff was on the south shore in Metairie rather than on the north shore where I live.
High winds even blew about 10 cars of a train off the Huey P Long bridge the crosses the Mississippi river in Metairie.

Rollins, son of the landowner, used the tractor. In the winter 1985, while in his possession the engine block cracked and was unrepairable. He had told my father
