: the hydraulic lift is junk w/o implements designed fot the H - i've got a plow and a #5 mower for mine so it serves a purpose, but w/o those, the tractor is only good for dragging drawbar implements. if you want to use it and don't care about collecting, there are definitly better alternatives for what you might pay - get it cheap!! : : Just a couple of questions. 1) What kind of of equipment can you use with this, it doesn't have a PTO just the hydraulic lift. How hard is it to get equipment that will work with this? Also would this be big enough to work 20 acres? Also what would be it's value good to fair condition (it's running maintaining a 2 acre garden) with busters and cultivators? thanks in advance for any information. please respond to e-mail address rjmmmm@gateway.net or rjmount@austin.cc.tx.us : Randy: : This tractor is intended primarily for use with drawbar implements or fully mounted implements designed for the H. Fully mounted implements, ie middlebusters, plows, and cultivators might be a bit hard to find for a tractor that old, I don't really know. Drawbar implements, ie disk harrows, drags, cultipackers/rollers, trailer plows and such are easier to find because any make will do and they don't have to be specifically for that make and model of tractor. Converted horse-drawn implements were quite common when that tractor was a working tractor, and are still available. As far as what it will pull, the H is a relatively low-powered tractor, so depending on your soil conditions, I'd suspect equipment along the lines of a 6' disk harrow or a single 14" plow would be about all you'd want to handle. Other possibilites are a sicklebar mower, a hay rake, a two-row mounted cultivator, a two-row planter or a small grain drill. Hope this helps.
