I replaced the pitmann arm on my 24t (the old one had a slight bend in it that worried me), bushings on the plunger end, and the bearings in the end caps. I didn't mark the end caps before I took them off and now I read in the shop manual that I should have. I looked at the caps and noticed that one side of each has poorer paint coverage so I am assuming that they were on the bottom. Is there any way to verify that this is the correct orientation? When the caps are positioned this way, both of the bearings' ears are on the bottom side. Thanks for any tips!!!
