Hi As you say bent rods I had a fordson major a guy put a 6 cyl in. When i got it it missed on 1 cyl. I tried good injector in the cylinder that missed and a spare pump, It still missed. nothing looked odd under the valve cover when running, so figured It was something else. It got left for a while. I had a guy came in the yard one day recognized it from last owner. His comment was have you figured out the miss yet. I said no, his answer was 2 years before it got rain water down the muffler and wouldn't start so they tried to tow it before they realised about the water. Goofs bent a rod from what we could figure out. I never found out for shore somebody else decided they liked it real bad even knowing it missed so it left my ownership faster than I decided to buy it. Regards Robert
