I really like the tank on the back of that articulated tractor. I could really use one of them on the 8430 - not that it would fit something that old. I would cuss it about the time I needed to work on the tractor, too. I can't afford to just have someone else fix it!
We have one old boy around here that is stealing land and making enemies by the fist full. He has to now go to the next county to get more ground, as folks are letting it sit rather than rent to him. He's got oodles of cattle - that's what is bank rolling him right now. I went cast rent on thirty acres this year to keep him from getting it. Only time will tell if it was worth it to keep it. I've had it long enough I wasn't about to let him benefit from all of the work I have done to build the soil. I may as well cash it one year and see if it pencils. It's only 30 acres but I felt like I had to put my foot down just like other I the area have. He's got to go a good many miles to get a JD dealership that will take his business. That makes me a little happy.
