Some of the prettiest green hay I have made in recent memory. Baler failed on first two bales and then perfect sailing, right out of mothballs from last season. Can't fault baler for missed ties - first one the twine wasn't across the billhook, second was due to excess grease on same billhook due to over agressive greaseing.
Normally I wouldn't start baaling for another month. This field needed to be opened up so a local septage hauler can inject his byproduct. Will attack it with a disk later this week. We finally got approval from the DEQ and health department. Two months of hassle with the two agencies. As a side note, I can contract with the hog farm down the road and apply his byproduct basically unfettered because of the right to farm laws.
