Of all the small post-WW2 tractors in Britain this was the most successful - made 1950 to 1956. The manufacturer was British Motor Boat company.
Fitted with Morris Motors 4 cylinder gasoline engine developing 10HP, same engine as fitted to the Morris Minor car. 3F-1R gears. A hydraulic external lift cylinder to operate a Cat 1 3 point, PTO & belt pulley, and lighting were optional extras.
Many were fitted with hand lift mid-mounted hoes/ridgers for row cropping; or a mid mounted finger bar mower.
Although light weight and low power, they actually performed very well in the fields, and were reliable. Most were not worked to death and were retired by 1960 so survivors are usually in good condition and don't require major restoration. Not appreciated by to-days collectors, values $1500 to $2000 for a nice off farm model.
