My brother and I were just discussing the land down under a few days ago. A few years ago they had their firearms taken away, and when that happens anyone can say or do whatever they want to anyone because who's going to stop them? Stop them with what? We're headed down that same road when even a week or few ago the NOW head of the Boy Scouts, Robert Gates banned "squirt guns" from the possessions of scouts while in the act of being a scout. He made another announcement a week ago, but I won't go into that one. Ween them young enough for long enough and we too will be like the land down under because no kid growing will have the first idea what the 2nd Amendment is, and probably not even our Constitution. So the other day, my brother and I are talking about that fella in the land of the down under that said that parents that read bedtime stories to their young children are taking unfair advantage of parents that do not, and their children. He went on further to say that after children are born, they should be taken away from their parents and be made wards of the government, raised by the government. My brother and I agreed that a few years ago, that fellas from the land of the down under may have said such things out loud, but no one would have heard him say it, at least not for long. Being that it was Memorial Day weekend, afterwards I went out on the property and lit up some targets from hundreds of yards away to keep myself practiced and to relieve some tensions that have been on the rise. You should go to jail? I'll go long before you do. Grin.
