After you figure out what you want for a charger, if you are curious as to whether or not your battery is "good to go", I test mine to tell for sure.
I bought a variable resistor pack battery tester from HF for less than 50 bucks. That's my way of finding out if the battery is good. Dial her up to a couple hundred amps and monitor the terminal voltage. Mine has red and green scales. If she will hold 11v at 200a she will start your diesel tractor on the coldest day.....assuming it's startable; good compression, clean (inside where the current flows) and tight connections.....opinion, BTDT
As was stated, just because it looks charged, doesn't mean it can deliver the amps you need.
